A certified accountant and auditor, he became one of Italy’s youngest full professors at 34 in 2007. He is a full professor of Accounting and International Accounting Standards.

He holds chairs in General Accounting and International Accounting Standards and has published monographs and articles in both Italian and international scientific journals. He has spoken at numerous national and international conferences and contributed to the revision of national accounting standards.

He also provides advisory services in management, corporate, and tax matters and leads oversight bodies for significant banking and commercial firms.

He has an active role in social initiatives and has been a scout for twenty years, also being a member of the Rotary Club Napoli, where he has received the Paul Harris Fellow honour six times.
