The first social responsibility of a chartered accountant is professional ethics. Independence, confidentiality, truthful judgement: our reports, opinions and certifications serve not only those who commission them, but the third parties who rely on them — creditors, investors, courts, the market. Education and research
We are practitioners and academics, and we regard the transmission of knowledge as a duty to the community. We teach in universities, publish research, bring practice into the classroom and research into our engagements. And we devote real energy to the growth of the firm’s young professionals, convinced that training those who come after us is the most lasting way to give back what the profession has given us.
A culture of legality
Legality in the economy rests on transparency and faithful accounting: truthful accounts are society’s first defence against fraud and opacity. We contribute to this culture through our auditing and compliance work, through forensic accounting in the service of justice, and through the rigour we bring to every set of financial statements that bears our signature.
The social role of crisis management
Every successful turnaround protects jobs, creditors and communities. In our work on corporate crises — turnarounds, negotiated settlements, insolvency proceedings — we defend not only the value of businesses, but the economic fabric that depends on them, above all in Southern Italy, where every business saved counts twice.
