Founder of the firm in 1972 and a chartered accountant since 1971, in 1986 she became one of the first women in Italy to be appointed full professor of Accounting.

She contributed to the development of the Italian national accounting standards, first as a member of the national standard-setting Commission and then of the Executive Committee of the Organismo Italiano di Contabilità, from 1994 to 2008. She has worked on some of the most significant judicial proceedings of the last thirty years in Italy and has chaired boards of statutory auditors of leading banking and commercial companies.

She has published monographs, articles in scientific journals and well-regarded accounting manuals, and has been a speaker at numerous national and international conferences.
